COBG - Terms of Reference: Definition of Black – Black refers to African, African – Caribbean, Asian and other people of colour who share a common experience of discrimination in the UK on account of their colour or racial origin. Intention To bring together black and minority ethnic (BME) individuals representing voluntary and community groups in Bristol and surrounding areas with the purpose of establishing a powerful voice on BME issues within the voluntary and community sector (VCS).
