Community at Heart (New Deal for Communities)

Community at Heart - delivering the Bristol New Deal for Communities programme. In 2000 local residents and agencies formed a partnership and put together a successful bid for £50 million funding from the Government’s New Deal for Communities programme. The bid was for regeneration of an area of east Bristol which includes the Dings, Redfield, Lawrence Hill and Barton Hill.
