2005-06 has been a very challenging, uncertain and tentative time for the sector as a whole. Reviews of services, introduction of new initiatives and changes in policy have taken its toll. The BME voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSES) along with BDA have been stretched to capacity in our attempts to keep up with the pace. We had to move very quickly to adapt to a fast changing environment. BDA Annual Report 2005-06
